The small white bits on the surface of the water are icebergs that have broken off from the LeConte Glacier (also known as bergy bits).
Day 83, August 26thAnother awesome weather day this one with incredible mountain views. We also saw our first bergy bits in LeConte Bay. We're getting to the super cool part of this trip. I'd like to go play in these mountains. Our sunset tonight was one of the best on this trip. The light on the mountains, the reflection of the color on the clouds and the glassy water. Now the moon is shining in our tent. I hope the weather and sea conditions would stay perfect like this. (Sonja)
